Liceo Scientifico “A.Einstein” was founded in 1970; it is a secondary school situated in the urban area of Rimini , a popular seaside resort on the Adriatic coast of Italy. It has become over the years one of the biggest in the area , devoting its efforts to improve the features of a school mainly Science and Maths oriented but well aware of the importance of offering the students the widest range of opportunities in their curricula: Italian, History, Philosophy, Foreign Languages, Music
The foreign languages taught at liceo A.Einstein are English, French, German, Spanish;
The school has welcomed students from Eastern Europe countries such as Romania, Moldova, Russia, from China for the last few years with very little knowledge of Italian so Italian courses have been organised to meet their needs ; all teachers have been engaged in adjustments ot their teaching subjects other than foreign languages as well .
We are always ready to understand and investigate the many changes in our school environment as well as in society, that's the reason why we want to share our teaching experience, find possible ways to improve teaching methods , start projects .
We have longtime experience with European projects( Comenius , Erasmus+), students' exchange , Pestalozzi training sessions ( Council of Europe) , certification. We started a course in Science English three years ago that is now a well-established option for the students who apply to Liceo A.Einstein; we have had a one-week Summer Camp since 2015 that puts together students, teachers, renowned professionals from the cultural/ university world ( science , philosophy, humanities) also from abro
Comenius, Erasmus+ ( with schools, univeristies from all over Europe and Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna )
As said above: we want to share our teaching experience, find possible ways to improve teaching methods , start projects .
