It's a Vocational State secondary school for cooking, catering and hotel service and tourism. Its students are 14-19 y. o. It's a very inclusive school, with some students with Special Needs and dislexia, sattending lessons and training with all their classmates. It has 41 classes, and it's situated 90 km far from Rome, in Latium.
It gives a strong imortance to languages, and it's a Certification center for Trinity and DELF. It's open to Europe and it joined in different Erasmus Projects

I'd like that my students could become citizens of the world, for their life and for their job. They come from social, economical, cultural poor, deprived families and school is their only means of improvement and growth. So I'm searching all the strategies and all the tools to help them to become high quality professionals, despite of their birth. I want them to learn languages in real contexts, not on book, so I try to let them join mobilities and internship abroad, even if is difficult. I w
I ìve been involved in 9 professional mobilities in LLP Programmes ( Leonardo, VET, Grudtvig, Lingua etc.) since 1992. I won Pestalozzi twice.
I'm an eTwinning ambassador, an ICT Coordinator, but, above all, I'm an eternal student, who thinks that "always learning" is the only way to teach.
I've been the Italian Referent to the NFER Research on mother language teaching/ learning in primary school in PIRLS participating countries, in 2006.
I'm a teacher trainer on language teaching in primary school: methodology, language, ICT etc. I'm interested in CLIL and I'm attending TechnoCLIL-EVO course.
- To help my students improve their foreign languages in a real, motivating and involving context ;
- to be part of a professional network to share best practices, resources and knowledge;
- to let languages be the most important (or the fundamental) subject in Italian schools.
