IIS B. Vittone is a technical secondary school in the Turin area with about 1000 students and 100 teachers. Pupils can specialise in business, tourism, architecture and agriculture. In the past years we have improved our internationalisation with mobility projects.
I graduated in English Language and Literature at the University of Turin, Italy in 1990. I can speak German and read French.
I like working with IT and exchanging ideas with collegues all over Europe and learning from others. I am also interested in flipped learning, translation as well as student and staff mobility.
I have been teaching EFL for more than 25 years. In 1989 I studied English at the University of Leicester for three months as an Erasmus student. In 1992 I won a Fulbright scholarship to teach and study for one year at the University of Oregon, Eugene, USA. In the past I also worked as a translator.
I am involved in a project about European Citizenship that will allow my students to stay in Cork in Ireland for three weeks.
I wish to keep up to date with the last researches in modern languages.
